Located moments from Portman Square in central London, this lateral apartment was remodelled and redesigned by the Antonio Grano studio with the confidence that comes from managing both the building works and the interior design under a single roof. The living and entertaining spaces are layered with velvet wall padding in a sophisticated palette of greys, whites, and polished chromes, brought to life by illuminated blue onyx wall features that give the principal rooms a quality of depth and light that no applied finish alone could achieve. Retained period doors were restored and repadded to match, honouring the building's architectural heritage whilst contributing to the unity of the new interior.

A bespoke granite fireplace and integrated mirror media wall form the anchor of the lounge, whilst wireless connectivity ensures the home operates with the ease that modern living requires. The master bathroom — granite jacuzzi, marble tiling, onyx detailing — maintains the same level of material ambition present throughout the rest of the apartment, demonstrating that in the hands of a studio with genuine building and design expertise, no part of a home need be treated as secondary.
