Bath Suite Design & Build — Downtown Apartment

This master bathroom project gave the Antonio Grano studio the opportunity to exercise its full design and build capability within a single, highly considered room — taking the brief from concept through to completed suite under one roof, without the division of responsibility that so often introduces compromise into projects of this nature. Natural Italian marble was selected as the defining material from the outset: its veining, tonal depth, and surface quality establishing the character of the room before any other decision was made, and providing a foundation against which every subsequent element — joinery, brassware, lighting, sanitaryware — was rigorously tested.

The space was re-planned to improve proportion, light, and flow, with precision detailing and bespoke integrated storage ensuring the room feels composed rather than cluttered. Polished marble surfaces are complemented by softly brushed brassware, sculptural fittings, and an ambient lighting scheme that shifts the room from functional to genuinely restorative across the course of the day. The result is a bathroom of enduring Italian sophistication — a space where luxury is felt rather than announced, and where the quality of the building work and the quality of the design are, as they should be, indistinguishable from one another.
