Structural Remodel, Extension & Loft
North London Detached

This North London detached house was transformed by the Antonio Grano building team through a programme of structural remodelling, rear extension, and loft conversion that significantly expanded both the footprint and the quality of the living environment. Redundant internal walls were removed and replaced with engineered steel beams, opening up the ground floor to create a more generous, light-filled plan suited to modern family life. The rear extension extended the principal living space into the garden, whilst the loft was converted to provide an additional bedroom suite of notable quality — a space designed with the same rigour applied throughout the rest of the project.

The interior scheme introduced warm faux leather wall textures in mushroom tones, layered with a palette of whites, golds, and soft browns that maintains cohesion across the enlarged footprint. Illuminated bedroom headboards, carefully considered lighting design, and elegantly detailed bay window features complete an interior that demonstrates what is achievable when building works and interior design are conceived and delivered together, the defining advantage of the Antonio Grano design and build approach.
