Brief
Comprehensive structural expansion, wrap-around extension, and garage conversion of a twenty-eight hundred and eighty square foot detached residence in North London to fundamentally scale ground floor living capacity and spatial performance.
Execution
The studio governed the complete structural intervention under a single point of clear accountability. We directed deep groundwork excavations, structural steel frame installation to replace restrictive load-bearing walls, integration of architectural Velux window systems and floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and full thermal insulation for the converted lounge space.
Outcome
An expansive detached residence featuring a seamless open-plan kitchen, dining, and main lounge environment connected to landscaped grounds.
