Structural Wall Removal & Remodel

Marylebone Town House

2400 square feet

This structural renovation transformed a partitioned, dark layout into a cohesive kitchen and dining environment. The primary objective involved removing internal walls to improve natural light, enhance circulation, and establish a direct connection between the interior living space and the garden.

The removal of structural barriers created a fluid floor plan where cooking, dining, and socializing coexist within a single shared environment. By eliminating internal partitions, daylight now penetrates deep into the home, replacing previously shadowed areas with a bright and clear atmosphere. This redesign provides an uninterrupted visual and physical link to the outdoors, effectively integrating the garden landscape into the daily living experience.

To maximize the perception of space, contemporary reflective surfaces were utilized throughout the remodel while maintaining a warm and welcoming aesthetic. The project successfully transitioned a restrictive layout into a versatile communal hub, improving the functional utility of the home and fostering a stronger sense of connectivity for the resident
