Chelsea TOWN HOUSE
Complete Structural Renovation, Attic Conversion, Rear Extension and Interior Architecture
2,940 Square Feet
Brief
Whole-building structural renovation, complete internal strip-back, loft transformation, and rear extension across a twenty-nine hundred and forty square foot period townhouse in Chelsea to modernize foundational infrastructure and maximize vertical living volume.
Execution
The studio governed the complete development cycle under a single point of fiduciary accountability. We directed structural outrigger reinforcement, full strip-back to the structural shell, renewal of primary mechanical and electrical infrastructure, raising of the roof coupled with floor lowering to form a duplex master suite, and creation of a rear extension with a reinforced glass roof terrace leading to excavated garden architecture.
Outcome
A distinguished Chelsea townhouse transformed from the ground up to institutional standards. This methodical structural intervention mitigates building fabric risks, expands spatial functionality, and elevates daily living performance while safeguarding long-term capital asset value.
