At Antonio Grano, we recently had the pleasure of working with a growing family eager to expand their home. Their goal was clear: increase the size of their house by building a side and rear extension. Additionally, they wanted to transform their existing garage into a comfortable living space. To achieve this, we utilized the underused area beside the house, maximizing every inch of available space.

The Structural Transformation

The plans for the rear and side extension required extensive steel works. This was essential to support the corner of the house, allowing for the removal of structural elements. Once the steel framework was in place, we carefully dismantled the existing brick walls, paving the way for a new, expansive layout.

Enhancing Natural Light

To create a bright and inviting atmosphere, we installed patio doors that provide seamless access to the rear gardens. Additionally, we incorporated three velux windows, flooding the kitchen and dining area with natural light. This renovation not only expanded the living space but also enhanced the overall ambiance of the family home.
