Penthouse Remodel — London Docklands

This luxury Docklands penthouse was taken back to its bare shell in a total interior rip-out — a deliberate and uncompromising approach that gave the Antonio Grano studio complete freedom to reimagine the 4,200 square foot space from first principles. Layout and flow were reconceived entirely, with bespoke joinery, refined material finishes, and custom furnishings introduced to create an interior that balances contemporary elegance with the kind of understated opulence that endures long beyond the moment of completion. The design draws on a blend of Italian modernism and the relaxed, light-filled sensibility the client sought — an environment that feels both striking and effortlessly liveable above the London skyline.

An intelligent layer of home automation underpins the entire scheme, with Lutron lighting and Control4 integration governing lighting scenes, climate, audio, and security throughout the penthouse. These systems are fully embedded within the architecture — invisible in operation, indispensable in daily life — allowing the home to transition intuitively between day and evening, entertaining and retreat. The result is a high-performance luxury penthouse in London where technology, design, and craftsmanship work in concert: a project that demonstrates the particular capability of a studio that can oversee the structural remodelling, the interior design, and the automation specification within a single, coherent programme of works.
