Master Bathroom Suite — Remodel, Design & Fitting

This master ensuite was remodelled, designed, and installed by the Antonio Grano studio as a unified project — design and building work proceeding in concert rather than in sequence, producing a result with a coherence that the division of these disciplines rarely allows. The period character of the London townhouse was respected throughout: proportions and sightlines preserved, architectural detailing honoured, and the new bathroom introduced in a manner that feels entirely natural to the building rather than imposed upon it.

Premium Italian marble forms the primary material of the space, complemented by bespoke brassware and sculptural sanitaryware selected for both their quality and their visual authority within the room. A layered lighting scheme — soft and atmospheric by evening, practical and precise by day — was installed to ensure the ensuite serves its purpose at every hour without sacrificing the sense of calm that defines it. Every element, from the specification to the installation, was executed with the precision that a project of this nature demands, resulting in a bathroom that feels authentically London in its setting and unmistakably Italian in its craftsmanship.
